About ME

I hold a BSc in Actuarial Science and am currently considering graduate study in either Political Economics or Operational Research. My academic interests lie in actuarial theory, industrial economics, and quantitative economics, and I hope to continue exploring these fields through further study.

I am also deeply interested in publication design and secondary mathematics education. In publication design, I independently developed mxbook, a versatile and highly automated LaTeX template for book-length projects; its latest version is available on the Notes page. In mathematics education, I am particularly interested in the development of locally grounded teaching materials for secondary schools in Beijing. Between 2021 and 2022, I authored one set of Gaokao preparation notes on conic sections independently and co-authored another with Mr Ai, a mathematics curriculum specialist; both were warmly received by students and teachers. From 2021 to 2026, I also worked as a junior mathematics curriculum researcher at Xueersi, producing a wide range of teaching and research materials, including detailed analyses of 2022 Beijing Gaokao examination questions. I hope to continue creating thoughtful and rigorous educational content in this field.

Beyond these pursuits, badminton and music remain enduring parts of my life. I am an avid badminton enthusiast and enjoy playing both men’s singles and doubles in my spare time—especially with Dr Song. Shi Yuqi is the player I admire most; watching him overcome setbacks and claim title after title has long been a source of inspiration, and I hope one day to see him complete a career Grand Slam. I am also an amateur musician, with several collaborative works released on NetEase Music. In the years ahead, I look forward to creating and releasing more music with S12K Revo, particularly in post-rock and pop.
